Kaua‘i was named Hawai‘i’s Best Island for the second year in a row by readers of Travel + Leisure magazine, according to a Kaua‘i Visitors Bureau press release. The island also ranked second on the magazine’s list of World’s Best Islands for 2010, trailing only the Galapagos Islands. Yeah Kauai! Here is a link to the magazine's site.

I have lived on Kauai for 20 years and our island really is amazing. And, planning weddings here is just icing on the cake. We have a saying here....Lucky we live Kauai. So true.
Christa and Jeff were married on a beautiful afternoon at Na Aina Kai gardens on the north shore. They had about 10 family members attend the ceremony. Christa looked so beautiful as she made her entrance down the steps from the tea house. We were able to get some photos both in the garden and down below on the beach. After the ceremony they had a reception at the Hukilau lanai in Kapa'a. Yum, yum...
Kim and Mark chose Tunnels beach on the north shore because of the beautiful mountains. Just prior to the wedding it has rained and then cleared and we had amazing weather. The good thing is that it cleared out the beach and we got parking! Not an easy task at Tunnels unless you want to park at the beach park and walk down the beach. Pat Powell preformed the ceremony and Paul Togioka preformed beautiful Hawaiian music. Kimberly's dress was amazing. And I love the green orchids that she chose for her bouquet.
