Veronica and Wendell were married on the south shore, in Poipu.  I had so much fun with this couple and there family.  It was a joy to be mart of there celebration. They had the cutest flower girls who were a great help in throwing petals for a photo.   And the weather held off.   ☺   It was perfect for the ceremony and the pictures after.  Just as we were finishing up we could see it coming.

Alistair and Emma were married on the south shore in the morning (8AM).  The morning light is quite nice, not to harsh and hot yet.  Emma looked so beautiful. After the ceremony they drove up to the north shore and spent the day snorkeling at Tunnels beach, followed by a romantic dinner at the Kauai Grill at the St Regis.

Christa and Jeff were married on a beautiful afternoon at Na Aina Kai gardens on the north shore.  They had about 10 family members attend the ceremony.   Christa looked so beautiful as she made her entrance down the steps from the tea house.  We were able to get some photos both in the garden and down below on the beach.  After the ceremony they had a reception at the Hukilau lanai in Kapa'a.

Kim and Mark chose Tunnels beach on the north shore because of the beautiful mountains.  Just prior to the wedding it has rained and then cleared and we had amazing weather.  The good thing is that it cleared out the beach and we got parking!  Not an easy task at Tunnels unless you want to park at the beach park and walk down the beach.  Pat Powell preformed the ceremony and Paul Togioka

Many of you know the Hawaiian islands were under a Tsunami warning which was caused by the 8.8 earthquake off of Chile.  In the 20+ years that I have live here we have had several tsunami warnings, many of which are canceled within a few hours.  Having heard of the possible tsunami coming the night before, I really wasn't to  concerned.  I did have an 80 person wedding scheduled on the 27th on

Here is my other Valentines Day wedding.  Felicia and Dan were married in the morning, at 10:00 AM.  I love morning weddings.  The lighting is so nice.  Especially at Princeville beach where they did the ceremony.  The sun is hitting those mountains, showing off all its beauty. One of my Valentines day couples...They chose Ke'e Beach up on the north shore for their location.  I don't go out to Ke'e very often, and I forget what amazing sunsets you get from there.  It is well worth the drive.  As usual, Manulele preformed a beautiful ceremony.   Loved the color combo that Kristi chose for her bouquet.  Hot pink roses and green cymbidium orchids.

How cute is this couple...  They chose to have the ceremony in Poipu, on the south side.  I love that little spot by the rocks where we do the ceremony.  When the waves are crashing it looks so dramatic.  After the ceremony we went to a few different spots for pictures.  There is this area where the rocks form a natural arch.  And the view of Keoniloa Beach from the top of the cliff.  Stunning.

Originally from Nebraska,  This couple now lives in Arizona.  They came with several family members, (who were dragged from the cold weather)  and they shared their wedding vows on the shores of Poipu.  This couple was so cute.  I had a lot of fun with them.  Jesslyn looked amazing (she is 3 months pregnant...Congrats !) Traveling all the way from Europe to be married on Kauai, Zuzana is from the Czech republic and Erwin is from Belgium.  They met in Italy. So the weather came back on track...back to sunny breezy trade wind weather. Yeah! Luis and Aubrey were married at Shipwrecks beach which fronts the Hyatt hotel down in Poipu. They were so much fun and so happy to be out of orange county and enjoying our slow paced island. There was even a sting ray swimming around the bay. It was an awesome site. Sometimes the weather doesn't always cooperate, however, we did have a window of "no rain" for the ceremony. Yeah! As soon as they signed the marriage license the rain came back... Since it wouldn't let up we went back to the beach the next morning and were able to get some beautiful pictures. I am glad that we did that. And they were too. They make such a cute couple...

Noel & Shawn were married at Hanalei Bay Resort up on the north shore. They celebrated their wedding ceremony with lots of family and friends. It was so much fun. Traveling from Arizona, Jason & Shannon shared there wedding vows at the Kauai Coast Resort. Shannon was so cute and she kept forgetting what she was supposed to say. I think it was because she was so excited to marry Jason. Several family members shared in the celebration. After they had dinner on property at the Hukilau Lanai.

Kristy & Dave traveled from Michigan with a group of friends to say their wedding vows on the beautiful Princeville beach. Kristy looked gorgeous and Dave didn't look to bad either. We had perfect weather. Afterwards they took everyone out to dinner at the Nanea restaruant at the Westin.

This couple came from Missouri to be married here. They chose Ho'ai beach (baby's beach ) in Poipu. We had perfect weather and a great sunset. I loved Kristie's dress. It was perfect for the beach.

I love morning weddings. The air is so cool and the light is perfect. Brandy & Tony were married on the lawn in front of their condo in Poipu. The surf was crashing on the rocks below and were treating to a spectacular show. Manulele preformed the ceremony and the couple was so cute together.

After a morning of stormy rainy weather... with the bridge closing in Hanalei, and flash flood warnings for the north and east shores, the weather broke and Estella & Drew had an amazing sunset wedding at Princeville Beach. Kelvin preformed the ceremony and we had not only waterfalls in the mountains but a beautiful sunset.

This couple was married at Tunnels beach in Haena. It was a beautiful day and what a beautiful sunset. They had several family members come from Denver to share in the celebration. We had so much fun. And September was so beautiful!

Tunnels beach provided a beautiful backdrop for this ceremony...after the 5 minute rain we had once we first arrived. Mina & Phil are from Phoenix, but are originally from NY. Larry preformed the ceremony and both he and I are from NJ, so we had an east coast reunion. It was fun. The ceremony was beautiful as well as the sunset.

What fun I had at this wedding. Kay & Greg were married at Plantation Gardens in Poipu. About 12 family members shared in the celebration. Even Grandpa made the long trip from Kansas. We took pictures in the orchid garden and then at the beach.
